For years never had to look twice at a hot water bottle but my Boots bottle is not the same this year. The label now states made in China, it looks roughly the same but is definitely not, so disappointing. I searched for a replacement hot water bottle made in Germany and here I am delighted to find I can still buy one. Wonderful, good quality and nicer colour too.
Years since my last Sanger bottle, forgot all about them until the heating bill rocketed. Anyway, now nice and cosy, heating went off early on.

I've used many Fashy bottles and always liked them, but this bottle is on another level. The picture on the front is excellent although it may not be to everyones taste but for my horse mad daughter completely gets it. Overall heat output is great too. Can't recommend this bottle enough.
Didn't expect this to be like it is. Was about to send it back until I read the reviews and thought I'll try it for a few days. Better does not sum it up, compared to my normal rubber bottle this is like the Rolls Royce of hot water bottles. Soft with a little gentle give, gets to a decent temperature, I like it hot so has to do a least that but is even better and it feels really nice to use. I'll buy this sort again,

Quite chunky, it's a velvet which I've not seen on a hot water bottle before. Looks the biz on my sofa, so pleased.
Has a decent cover, easy to fill up - has a soft fabric, it's good and thick. Has a cream hot water bottle inside, rubber too, all looks good also. Got the hottest when I put only boiling water in but now add cold, was too hot to hold. Pleased with the bottle. No more to add.
Reasonablly priced and really hot to use. The cover is why I went for it, liked the design, looks even better in real life.
This is a compact bottle taken as a replacement, same as our kids used last year camping, we're getting more for all of us this year, lot to choose from, thanks.
Quick delivery. Bottle appears well made and works well. I decided to try this model after being annoyed at the usual supermarket brands just lasting a few months before looking tatty. Time will tell if this was a wise decision but after 3 months looks pristine still.

Bottle works well, I like that it does not have smell from rubber, also like the simple design. Only point of critique on the bottle is instructions booklet, who these days does not know how to fill a hot water bottle up, seems a waste of paper.

Best hot water bottle I've ever had, used to buy from Boots until now. Always had Boots bottle for years, went in and found it's not the same, looked a bit different, thinner, bit floppy. Price was very cheap so I looked at the label and it's not made in Germany, penny dropped, it's a Chinese bottle. No way am I buying those ever.

I have bought this hot water bottle again, and am as so pleased with it, got one about 6 years ago and still using it. I tried other rubber bottles but the smell was awful and they never lasted very long in my house. I like my bottle very hot, it's the best.

Very posh hot water bottle, well packed, arrived in good time by post which I prefer. So easy taking the bottle out, no fiddly buttons and no pushing it through, love it, nothing bad to say.
Bought 2 of these, not cheap so was expecting a lot from them. One was for my sister in Chicago, she can't find any there, the other for me. They arrived in a really strong gift box, nice surprise, it had to be posted onwards. The cloth was a bit rough but once washed it soften up, no colour run at all. I like a rubber bottle, thankfully they are good strong ones but for the money they should be. Although more than I would normally pay as a treat getting a something that is nice to use is worth the extra.
When are these back in stock, I want to buy one, can you let me know.

Bought a few months ago replacing a leaking hot water bottle, had expected the same life span as the old but no, this one is still going strong. Must be the way its made as I use it exactly as before and always sagged after a few months. Liked the colour which is why I bought it, now I'll look for more of these, they are ace.

So pleased to find, a quick search too. Purchased online due to my local Boots stopped stocking them, try and support local stores but it's getting harder and harder when they no longer stock what I want. Years ago Boots had a good hot water bottle but now it's made in China, everywhere I look the stores all have the same. For me I want a decent hot water bottle, well made, nice colours, thick and strong. This one is everything I want and postage was very reasonable, thanks.
Been using this a while now, putting away for next winter, it looks no different from when it first arrived. You can see it's made to last, I reckon I'll get a few years from this. Pleased with everything, good job!
I found it just the right size, it is lovely and soft. Bought it as my bottle is missing a cover, was going to knit one myself but found this when searching for a pattern. Anyway since it's made in England could not see the point of getting out my knitting needles.
I'm buying another now to swap over when it's in the wash, pretty good material and colour choices.
A handle is the reason I bought this, size wise it's big enough for me, only minus is no other colours like all the other bottles.

Bought months ago and really very happy with it. Material is very soft also not small or big, just right. Used a lot, gives me warm feet when sat listening to the radio or watching TV. In all a very happy lady.

Brilliant , glad I purchased it now as I wouldn't be without my hot water bottle. It got so stuffy with the electric blanket I gave it away to a charity shop, fed up waking up in the night in a sweat. So much better now I can move the bottle around to my feet, bliss.
Was more than I like to pay, my last one was a tenner from ebay but it fell apart after a few uses. This one looks and feels lovely, I can see why it's more money, the bag inside comes out so I can wash the cover which I've never seen before. I've washed a few times, so nice to get that fresh clean smell again, much much better.

Never had a non rubber hot water bottle before, my sister got one last year, she loves her. I got on well with old rubber ones but these are same but different. Top is much wider, so easy to fill and doddle to empty and I do like my bottle hot. I always worried rubber would split if I put in really hot water, this bottle is like strong plastic bottles you get. I'm now buying another for my partner and a spare.
Just as expected, had one years ago from a shop in Glasgow, don't see these around anymore now.
Far to small to use properly, returned for a full refund, not worth it at all.

Never seen before, searched for a small hot water bottle, this popped up. I can't find one like this small, absolutely great.
I like this bottle a lot more than the ones I've got from Dunelm, this one is different, softer somehow, squidgy, not that plastic feel. Colour is fine, but bigger than the old bottle, just about got the cover. Overall you can see this is a better made bottle and nicer to use.

Bought this for my nan for Christmas, she is still using it this week even on warm night, loves using it. So pleased to find this, most things we buy she stuffs in a cupboard but this well used, I would buy again no second thought.
Not good at all, all the filling runs to the bottom of the bag leaving the top empty. Disappointed with it, sent it straight back.

Well where do I start....bought this thinking it was orange, opened the parcel to see blue tinge. Strange....looked again and it's double faced, what a fabulous idea, like having 2 hot water bottles for the price of one. I'll be back for more next year.
Like the colour and bought for that, the bottle is like a normal bottle just as I would get from Asda before, now I like this one better, nicer with no rubber whiff to it.

Went to Boots to replace my Boots bottle but it's not as it was made in Germany but some Chinese bottle. After asking the staff nobody knew anything about the change and left feeling disappointed. Found this one made in Germany and it's just as good as the Boots bottles used to be, same look, stopper is same and nice plain cover, almost identical. I am pleased to find I can still get one and will keep buying these as none of the others are patch on these.
Had a bottle from many years ago, where it went is debatable, misses reckons it wasn't her that threw it out, had plenty of rubber left on it also. This one is good, thick rubber, nice grips on it and came with a new cover, nice. Hidden away for protection from the bin police!!

Bought this for my wife to wear around her neck to help with an injury she got at the gym. Good in cold weather too, she uses it a fair bit.
The thing I especially like about this is the sizing. I wear a size 8 size shoe and this is a bigger with room to spare. The one I had before was a microwave foot warmer from Amazon and that was for tiny feet, this is ideal for me.

Enjoying my new hot water bottle, first one for years now, used them many moons ago, forgot how nice they are. Only comment is does not have the fins on both sides, apart from that I'm loving using a bottle again.
Brilliant bit of kit for the money. The cheaper ones do the job but don't have sealed stoppers. I found those sort leak after a few months and then useless. I don't usually do these reviews but this one is worthy! Brilliant value for money!

I have been using these bottles for years, these are the best made ones, coming from Germany says it all. My last bottle is at least 5 years old and I bought that at my local chemist shop but they only have rubber bottles from China now and no covers. I was told it was to do with Brexit and getting stuff out of Germany has dried up. Very pleased to find these, a quick Google search found them. Thank you, I will be back for another bottle in 5 years or so.
Far too much choice, spent ages looking and reading about the different bottles. In the end I went with a plain one and a pattern one. Both bottles are very nice, I would suggest putting them in groups, make it simply to find what you need without looking all the bottles.

Last year I looked for a proper hot water bottle and could not find one anywhere, how I missed these I don't know, my hairdresser had one at work for putting her feet on. Great hot water bottle purchased in summer but did not use it until November and still in constant use now. I have only used in winter admittedly and it was mostly on cold nights but this bottle really made a difference to my comfort and still looks like new.
Always bought my German bottle from Boots but not anymore. My local Boots has changed to Chinese bottles, I loved my German bottles, the replacements are not a patch on quality. My neighbour told me about this place and what a good choice of German made bottles, they are the same as the Boots ones and good colours. Hot water bottle is a must in my house for all of us, we use them all through winter, a flimsy Chinese bottle is not what we want. Still, I will shop at Boots but not for a hot water bottle anymore.

So I'm thrilled with this hot water bottle, wanted it without any smell and plain, I see too many pattern covers around, none are for me. The cover is a good colour, I choose it as it's cotton, this is so soft, nice against my skin, don't want nylon fabrics in the bedroom, horrible. I tried this big hot water bottle as I suffer from chronic pain especially in the cold weather. Bigger is better for me, it has been a lifesaver this winter, I'm buying another to put away for next winter as a spare.

On the large size for my small bottle, it did say 1 litre and mine is 750ml and has a bit of room to spare, otherwise can't faulty it, well made.
Blown away but the choice of colours and sizes and everything here. Took a while to pick through, in the end I just want a plain decent bottle and found it, very impressed.
Had to buy a new bottle but the one I got off ebay in Manchester was horrible and smelly and covered in a film of oil. Sent that back and searched for bottles with no smell or oil and this is the one that came out on top. I am so pleased, after the last one I was worried they would all be the same but this bottle is clean and fresh smelling. It's all I want and a nice colour, thank you.

Not my normal choice for a hot water bottle, I have a throw in the same type fur as this. Colour is almost an exact match, looks great and works well, even has a tiny zip to get the hot water bottle out. Really pleased with my little find.

I suffer from painful cold hands in the winter, so I bought a couple of these hot water bottles to keep my hands warm. I have tried a small hot water bottle before and got some comfort from it however I found them too large for my hands and they can get a bit too hot. These are the right size, palm size, just comfortable especially on my fingers. I had trouble initially filling up and getting the temperature right, a bit trial and error and now just right.
Had plenty of opportunity to test it, used on all the cold days lately and when it's been needed. My main observation is, for me, the hot water bottle feels well made as does the cover. If you want a good quality bottle this is it, there are much cheaper ones that I have used before but the quality has let then down for me. I like nice things, anything that feels cheap, poorly made or flimsy is a real turn off and ends up never used. Would I buy again? - absolutely, anything better quality than the other bottles is going home with me.
I got this hot water bottle for my son who is a keen camper. He will go camping in all conditions. His tent is not well insulated and gets horribly cold, so I bought this bottle to help him at night get some warmth and sleep. This is now part of his camping stove and kettle essential, never leaves without it. He tried other ways of keeping warm with special blankets and sleeping bags but now reckons the missing link was always a hot water bottle.
Used this hot water bottle on a ski trip in France, temperatures down to - 12C, worked like a dream.

I have raynauds and arthritis and bought two of these for the cold weather to use on my hands and feet mainly. I have found it much easier on cold mornings and evenings with the hot water bottle warming me up in a more gentle way than a fire or heater. As a pensioner my heating is expensive, this helps me keep warm without heating the whole flat.

Gifted this to my son's girlfriend at Christmas. She loves it.
Not for me, it's to go inside my daughter's giraffe cover, fits exactly, pretty much the same as the one she had before, very pleased and relieved to find it.
Very different to anything i used before, not like a normal hot water bottle. Built like a tank, army specification I would say, feels like it would take anything on and not bat an eye. This is going camping with me, the temperature can get cold in the hills and i wanted an easy quick way to keep warm and safe, no fires or camp stoves. Tested it out over the last week, it's defo up for it.

I ordered this for my 92 year old Nan who has used a hot water bottle all her life. Her old one looked sad and the cover was torn, saw this on sale, good for the money. She liked that the stopper has a rubber tip, her old was missing this which worried her. She is really pleased and said it gets used every day now.
It's early days but so far pleasantly pleased with it. It doesn't get used much as I have a larger hot water bottle at night, this one is just for my hands when they freeze up.
This is for my wife who has osteoarthritis. She wanted a small bottle to use in the car and for short use, totally delighted with it.
Finding anything in cotton is so difficult for me with my skin allergy this is just perfect. I searched for cotton hot water bottles and only place to have what I need is here, thank you so much, please don't stop making these.

Neat bottle, never seen one like this before. Thought it would be a fun to try it as I too love my hot water bottles and always have several in the cupboard. Works well with the extended funnel for pouring, the stopper is rock solid too, different to my other ones. Downside is shape is odd, can't use my cover so I wrapped an old throw that has been cut down (dog chewed it) otherwise it would be very hot. Would I buy again, yes when it needs replacing but I will always use my normal hot water bottle still.
Buy one every year and will continue to do so unless they stop making them.

This bottle has been used daily by my mother since her hip op last year, she gets cold easily in her draughty cottage and wanted me to get her as she called it a proper hot water bottle. Well this one came up in the search so I bought one and I bought another from Tesco with my shop. This one she loves and been in use ever since, the other we gave away to a charity shop, she would not use it. Funny thing is the Tesco bottle was supposed to be 2 litre and this is 1.5 litre yet is about the same size and much better, gets really hot.
